Thanks to all who supported the opening of the Fruit Hill Farmers Market!  Several vendors sold out and it was steady traffic despite the threats of downpours.  Thanks especially to our friends at Farm Fresh RI for all of their support and our pals over at Ecori who not only came to the market but featured us in a terrific story on their site!  We are overwhelmed by the support of the community and cannot wait to see you all again each Friday afternoon.  This week Pine View Farms will be here selling meats as well as Dave's Coffee Roasters and Dirty Vegan Foods... We are so fortunate to have such a great bunch of vendors to help us create a diverse market!  Come on down this Friday... we might have a bit of music to accompany the great community vibe!  

Day of Reckoning!

It is finally here!  The opening of the 2011 Fruit Hill Farmers Market at RIC!  We are delighted to begin our season on Friday July 29th from 3:30-6:00pm.  There will be friends old and new to welcome you!  Please stop by and see us and support local farms and local businesses that truly contribute to Little Rhody's character!

Summer is around the corner.... well maybe not but it will be here before you know it. We are excited to begin our FOURTH season! We would like to take this opportunity to thank Rhode Island College for supporting the market, working hard to promote it and for giving us a terrific home! We would also like to thank Farm Fresh RI for all of their support. They have helped us by providing the market with great PR, assistance with our EBT and Debit and have been just terrific champions of the market. We truly appreciate all of our friends that help us bring the market to the community each year. This year we hope to feature several farms with a variety of produce, soaps, honey, chocolates, cheese, bread, doggie treats, ice cream, homemade meals, eggs, herbs, natural sodas and seltzer and much more!
