We welcome new friends like Stamp Farms and Jordan's Jungle to the mix as well as our pal Liz Smith from My Wicked Garden as a guest vendor! Locavores Unite!
The Fruit Hill Farmers Market was started as a way to unite the community and support our local growers, crafters, bakers and the like. We want to encourage everyone to take a minute and think about the impact of supporting small local business. We were surprised to find so many gems in the area and want to use this blog as a tool to support their endeavors to make our community a better place. They are not only small businesses but local initiatives, organizations and community groups that focus on the greater good!
We are gearing up for our seventh season! We are happy to report that all of our vendors will be back and we will have some new folks joining the line up. In addition to Fruit Hill Apiaries, White Oak Farm, Decadent Designs and Furoli's Backyard we welcome Angell Farm, The Bread Boss and Rachyll's Goat Soaps. Over the course of the market we will be welcoming vendors of the week bringing a variety to each market! We also hope to see a few guest food trucks in the mix so stay tuned! The Fruit HIll Farmers market has become a fixture in the community as a meeting place and a great venue for locally grown and produced food. We are delighted to offer a place where folks can come and hear music, chat with old(and new) friends and sample some of the local flavor. We can't wait to see you this year! Tell your friends and neighbors and come on down to buy local!
